Materials
The major decision you will make regarding your Livermore patio is which material to use. Our experienced staff will advise you on the many different textures, styles, and colors available with each material so that you can make an informed decision on which material best suits you and your garden. Some of the most popular materials include:
- Bricks
- Natural or cut paving stones
- Tiles
- Pebbles
- Precast concrete pavers or interlocking units
- Poured concrete slabs
- Gravel
- Crushed stone
Our staff can also show you examples of each material so that you get a better idea of how your finished patio may look.
Stamped Concrete Patios
Stamped concrete involves creating patterns on a freshly poured concrete surface using specially fabricated wooden stamps. The end result of these stamps can be truly breathtaking, and it is hard to distinguish a stamped concrete surface from the materials they mimic unless you look closely. Stamped concrete can look great in a range of residential and commercial settings but we find that they are particularly suitable for concrete patios and decking. And if you do not see a stamp that fits your own design ideas, then speak to our staff about customizing stamps that will be unique to your patio.
Colors and Stains
As the leading provider of concrete services in the Livermore area, we can also color or stain your concrete patio to almost any shade you can think of. There are two types of concrete staining; water-based staining and acid-based staining. Water-based staining comes in a variety of colors but does not offer any real protection to your concrete so will need sealants added once it has dried. Acid-based staining penetrates the actual surface of your concrete and won’t chip or fade. But this latter staining uses dangerous chemicals and needs to be applied carefully and safely. Our team use all required equipment and conform to all safety regulations.
Enhance Your Garden
With so many options to choose from, your biggest issue will be deciding what your patio will look like once finished. You can decide on the size, shape, style, and materials used. Our designers will work closely with you on your patio design and then our skilled and experienced staff will transform those plans into reality. You may just have an idea in your head for now, but with our help, you can soon have a pool deck, driveway, or patio to relax and entertain on.
